About Me

My Photo
Hi, welcome to my blog, which is essentially a showcase for my illustration work. Please note my 'more professional' Cargo Collective website is only a click away (see the link on the right). All work is under copyright to me, so get in touch if you want to use it.

International Weekend

Wow, I haven't posed anything for a while. My Excuse is that I have been working on a larger project. More on that in June. Anyhow, here's something I took a while to rustle up.  I hope at least a few of you are football fans (or have the misfortune to spend a lot of time with one), or this may not make that much sense!

Doodles

Like many people, I find myself a-doodlin' a fair bit.  Here's a few I found among post-its.  Seems I tend to pass the time by scribbling pics of slightly odd or sinister blokes. As you do.

Expectant Butterflies

Originally I was going to render this with bright colours, but I quite liked some of the monochrome colours I started with...so I kept 'em!

Director's Block

Thought I'd go back to producing a few short comic strips.  Here's one concerning a well known film maker having a bit of trouble finalising ideas for his next motion picture.  Of course, it all worked out it the end.

Nightlife...

Book Cover: 'Why Was Queen Victoria Such A Prude?'

Last year I took a commission to produce a book cover - here's the result.  The book, which takes a sideways look at history, is now available on Amazon as an e-book or as a print-on-demand hard copy.  Have a gander at Amazon and the author's website.

I hope you see how the cover wraps around the book...obvious innit!
