'Words of Wisdom...'
Thought it might be fun to make some cartoons taking a sideways look at English sayings...here's my first finished one. I first did this with blue speech bubbles, but a friend pointed out it made the text hard to read. Hopefully yellow is a bit better!

Free Rangers: Screen printed version
Had a go at screen printing last week...this is the result I got using two colours on this 'classic' toon. I think it looks rather nice - kind of like and old comic strip!Alex

'IMPRISONMENT'
This is a piece of work that grew out of an assignment to illustrate words representing abstract concepts, one of which was 'imprisonment'. What form of imprisonment could be worse than that of an intellectual brain trapped in the head of a philistine? Eh? Eh? Exactly.
Free Rangers...coloured version
Been playing around with photoshop colouring an old 'Free Rangers' strip...this is what I came up with (keeping it minimal!).
